Tree Root Intrusion

Tree roots are one of the most common causes of sewer line blockages and pipe damage. As roots grow through the soil, they naturally seek out moisture. Even the smallest crack or pipe joint in a sewer line can allow roots to enter the pipe, where they continue to expand and create serious obstructions.

Once inside the sewer line, roots can trap debris, restrict wastewater flow, and eventually cause recurring clogs or complete blockages. In severe cases, root growth can crack or collapse sections of pipe, requiring more extensive repairs.
